In the first episode of Let’s Taco Bout It our host Rosanna Anil visits Fresco’s Cantina located in Astoria, Queens NY to try their fusion-style tacos and chat with owner Brian Martinez.
In episode 2 we visit an authentic New York City Mexican restaurant La Contenta Oeste located on the lower east side of Manhattan. Chef and Proprietor give us a tour of the kitchen to see how their tacos are made and treat us to a wine and tequila tasting to complement the tacos dishes.
Named after the bohemian Guadalupe Inn neighborhood in Mexico City, the 80-seat restaurant evokes the warm and vibrant feel of a 40s-era supper club. Upon entering guests are greeted by a 16-seat bar with a copper inlay, lush floral wallpaper, and custom brass lighting fixtures. The restaurant features cactus green banquettes, a large, dark oak wood bar, and floors and maple wood tables.

Cascalote Latin Bistro was created by Chef Julian Hoyos and his family. It is located in the culturally diverse neighborhood of Spanish Harlem. The name Cascalote comes from the name of a beautiful small farm village located in Puebla, Mexico. The people in this village are skilled farmers, with years of rich culture and tradition.
Sorrento’s pizzeria is an established family owned since 1968. In 2010 Enrique took over bringing together old Italian recipes alone with the new tasty flavors learned in different fine restaurants, and with the knowledge of pizza making he started to make Sorrento’s pizza one of the best pizza places in the state of NJ.

Ay, caramba! Dat’s Slamin host Joey Sousa gains access to an early sneak peek for a limited-time engagement at the Springfield Mall in Springfield, Pennsylvania. Joe McCullough and Jeff Whalen transformed an open spot inside the mall into an exact replica of Moe’s Tavern from the hit animated series, The Simpsons.
Within a last-minute occurrence, host Joey Sousa learned that the Freehold food truck for Cousins Maine Lobster was making a stop at the Bennetts Mills Plaza in Jackson, New Jersey, so he was tempted to taste some delicious lobster-inspired entrées along with meeting the truck’s owners, Savas and Victoria.
