Honda Celebrates 25 Years Of Powersports Production In South Carolina

Honda is celebrating 25 years of building world-class powersports products at Honda South Carolina Manufacturing (SCM) in Timmonsville by expanding production of popular Honda side-by-side models to meet growing customer demand. Since 1998, Honda associates have produced more than four million power sports products in South Carolina. Noriya Kaihara, president & CEO of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM), and the chief officer of Honda North America Regional Operations joined SCM associates to mark the week-long celebration of their 25th anniversary with a tree-planting ceremony representing SCM’s continued growth in the state of South Carolina, as well as charitable contributions to local community organizations.

SF90 XX Stradale And SF90 XX Spider: The First Road-Going Cars In The XX Programme

Based on the SF90 Stradale, the new special limited series SF90 XX Stradale was unveiled today alongside its SF90 XX Spider counterpart. To be built in just 799 and 599 examples respectively, these new V8-powered PHEVs represent the latest and most extreme example of a concept of special versions, which pushes the performance of Ferrari’s road-going models to new levels.

Ferrari KC23: Maranello’s New One-Off Based On The 488 GT3 Evo 2020

Designed by the Ferrari Styling Centre led by Flavio Manzoni, the KC23 is based on the 488 GT3 Evo 2020 platform from which it inherits its layout, chassis and engine. The base for the project was very special indeed: the 488 GT3 has been racing since 2016 and to date, it has triumphed in the world’s most prestigious endurance races, racking up over 530 victories and winning more than 119 championships, making it the most successful racing Ferrari in history.

Lamborghini Unveils SC63

Lamborghini Squadra Corse today launches its first hybrid endurance racing prototype, the SC63, at Goodwood Festival of Speed. The SC63, which will begin testing within weeks, is set to compete in the Hypercar class of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and in the GTP class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Endurance Cup, comprising classic races such as the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring. Lamborghini has partnered with the Italian team Iron Lynx to run the car in international competition and has signed world-class drivers from the world of Formula 1 and endurance racing.

Honda New CR-V Hybrid Racer

Honda has released a new video taking viewers inside the construction of the CR-V Hybrid Racer, a wild 800-horsepower SUV aptly nicknamed “The Beast” by the engineers responsible for its development. The video tells the story behind the 14-month-long in-house project, documenting the meticulous hand-fabrication required to build the world’s only SUV powered by an IndyCar drivetrain.
