The new Amarok’s front end is characterized by bold horizontal upper radiator grille crossbars, while the rear end is distinguished by new C-shaped rear lights. The length and longer wheelbase of the new Amarok create more room in the cab, while shorter overhangs improve the off-road ability. Add in new technology – including 30 driver assistance features - and the second-generation Amarok redefines the premium pick-up sector, offering a reliable companion for customers seeking comfort without sacrificing load-lugging or off-road capabilities.

The combination of ranges up to 700 kilometers (WLTP)2, superior powertrain, spacious interior and premium technologies makes the ID.7 a comfortable limousine for long-distance travel and opens up a new segment for the ID. family. Almost five meters long, the model also has an enhanced customer-focused operating concept and a high-quality appearance. The ID.7 launch is planned for this year in Europe and China, and from 2024 in North America.
Volkswagen of America, Inc. is pleased to introduce the 2024 Atlas Peak Edition trimline at the New York International Auto Show. Inspired by the Basecamp Concept shown in 2019, body cladding elements create a more rugged overland look, while black-out detailing and a unique interior palette further elevate the model year 2024 Atlas family.
The camouflaged ID.7 is still undergoing its final test drives in Alicante, Spain. The new all-electric model for long-distance driving is able to fully show off its strengths on the winding and mountainous roads in the region. Kai Grünitz, a Member of the Board of Management responsible for Development, explains: “With the ID.7 we have exploited the potential of the MEB even further. We have also used a new, more powerful and more efficient electric drive motor. In addition, we have enhanced the control quality of the running gear and were thus able to further increase driving comfort. The combination of a superior drive system, comfortable running gear and long range make the ID.7 the perfect limousine for long-distance travel.”
This year, Volkswagen will continue the success story of the million-selling Touareg with a comprehensive technical and visual update of the premium SUV. The rear and front of the luxury SUV have been redesigned, the chassis has been further developed and impresses with its combination of comfort and performance. Before the world premiere in the summer, Volkswagen is now providing a first preview of the update for its top model.
The stage is set for the ID.7! At the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas between 5 and 8 January 2023, Volkswagen will showcase its first fully electric sedan based on the modular electric drive matrix (MEB). It will be clad in smart camouflage, which uses unique technology and multi-layered paintwork to create light effects on parts of the vehicle. This is an interactive feature and symbolizes the next step in the digitalization of the future flagship model of Volkswagen’s EV family. The ID. AERO3 concept vehicle that was initially presented in China already provided a preview of the new model, which has an aerodynamic design and is able to achieve a manufacturer’s estimated range of up to 700 kilometers2 for European models based on a simulated WLTP cycle. After a six-year break, Volkswagen Group of America is returning to CES—the world’s largest electronics trade show—with a very special product.
