McLaren Automotive Serves Up ‘Bucket List’ Track Experience For Tennis Ace Hubi Hurkacz

For ATP tennis star, Hubert (Hubi) Hurkacz, who heads to the US Open Championships this week, it was the iconic McLaren P1TM hypercar – specifically P1 OOV, which is still part of McLaren’s own heritage fleet – that took pride of place and drove his childhood dreams at home in Wroclaw, Poland.
The McLaren 750S defines a new benchmark for supercar performance and driver exhilaration. The lightest and most powerful series-production McLaren, the new V8-engined, 740bhp McLaren 750S – available in Coupe and Spider versions – is unashamedly a supercar for the purist. With ferocious performance, it can reach 60mph in just 2.7 seconds and 124mph in 7.2 seconds and – as confirmed by Saturday’s run – an independently verified top speed in excess of 200mph.

Around 30 percent of 750S components are either new or changed in order to deliver these improvements and with them an even greater emotional connection to the car.

As McLaren marks its 60th anniversary, the supercar maker has teamed up with the LEGO Group to release the first-ever double pack of LEGO Speed Champions featuring two of McLaren's most iconic supercars: the McLaren F1 LM and McLaren Solus GT. Both LEGO creations pay homage to McLaren's technical innovation and design language with authentic details from real-life cars, including the Papaya Orange color of the F1 LM, its central driving seat position, and cooling ducts.
