Lamborghini Squadra Corse today launches its first hybrid endurance racing prototype, the SC63, at Goodwood Festival of Speed. The SC63, which will begin testing within weeks, is set to compete in the Hypercar class of the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and in the GTP class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Endurance Cup, comprising classic races such as the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring. Lamborghini has partnered with the Italian team Iron Lynx to run the car in international competition and has signed world-class drivers from the world of Formula 1 and endurance racing.

Driving the panoramic roads of the remarkable Joshua Tree National Park, adventurers appreciate the driving comfort of the Sterrato on asphalt before hitting the exhilarating dirt tracks in Rally mode at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway. The circuit in the Coachella Valley desert combines a traditional tarmac track with sections of dirt surfaces over a total length of around 4km. The pioneering and unconventional approach of the Lamborghini brand is evident in the Huracán Sterrato’s performance in such diverse environments, with optimized vehicle dynamics for perfect driving control on all surfaces.
In March 2023 Automobili Lamborghini unveiled the Revuelto[1], the first super sports V12 plug-in hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle). The Revuelto combines a new V12 with an innovative hybrid system with three electric motors, posing novel challenges not just during the design and development stage but also in the manufacturing phase. Ranieri Niccoli, Lamborghini Chief Manufacturing Officer, and some of his team take us behind the scenes of the Revuelto project in the second of three short films dedicated to the super sports car, ushering in a new era for the Lamborghini brand.

In the marque’s 60th anniversary year, Automobili Lamborghini presents Revuelto[1], the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV (High-Performance Electrified Vehicle). Revuelto defines a new paradigm in terms of performance, sportiness and driving pleasure from its unprecedented new architecture; innovative design; maximum-efficiency aerodynamics; and a new carbon frame concept. An output of 1015 CV is delivered from the combined power of an entirely new combustion engine together with three electric motors, alongside a double-clutch gearbox that makes its debut on a 12-cylinder Lamborghini for the first time.
