The BMW Group is presenting international media representatives with the first vehicles in a pilot fleet that will go into service this year. After four years of development work, the BMW iX5 Hydrogen vehicle and development project is entering its critical next phase. The fleet of under 100 vehicles will then be employed internationally for demonstration and trial purposes for various target groups. This active driving experience will therefore be the first chance for people not involved in the development process to gain a direct impression of what the BMW iX5 Hydrogen has to offer.
Defined design revisions, enhanced standard equipment and progressive digital technology to identify the latest generation of the BMW X5 and BMW X6. Together, the finely-honed changes further strengthen the success of the firmly established BMW model pairing in the luxury Sports Activity Vehicle and Sports Activity Coupé segments. The smoothly assured character of the new BMW X5 is now emphasized by particularly robust design features and the optional illuminated BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille. The dynamic nature of the new BMW X6, meanwhile, is underscored by features included in the optimized M Sport specification.
The new BMW M2 encapsulates the pure joy of driving: its compact dimensions, a six-cylinder in-line engine, a manual gearbox option, rear-wheel drive and an advanced control/operating concept – allowing the driver to adjust the vehicle setup as desired – are all central to its appeal. Surefooted agility on demand and handling that remains easily controllable even as the driver explores the coupé’s limits are at its core. The distinct character profile of the new BMW M2 is reflected in a powerful design that conveys its segment-leading power, even before it turns a wheel.
