Honda is celebrating 25 years of building world-class powersports products at Honda South Carolina Manufacturing (SCM) in Timmonsville by expanding production of popular Honda side-by-side models to meet growing customer demand. Since 1998, Honda associates have produced more than four million power sports products in South Carolina. Noriya Kaihara, president & CEO of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM), and the chief officer of Honda North America Regional Operations joined SCM associates to mark the week-long celebration of their 25th anniversary with a tree-planting ceremony representing SCM’s continued growth in the state of South Carolina, as well as charitable contributions to local community organizations.
Honda has released a new video taking viewers inside the construction of the CR-V Hybrid Racer, a wild 800-horsepower SUV aptly nicknamed "The Beast" by the engineers responsible for its development. The video tells the story behind the 14-month-long in-house project, documenting the meticulous hand-fabrication required to build the world's only SUV powered by an IndyCar drivetrain.
A new video goes out on the trail with the development team of the all-new 2023 Pilot TrailSport, sharing what inspired them to create the ultimate family adventure SUV. The engineers showcase the Pilot TrailSport’s rugged capability and provide insight into the exclusive off-road hardware that gets it even farther off the beaten path.
